Art As Therapy

Is art therapy? If so, what is Art Therapy? Many would agree that the acts of both creating art and consuming art can be intrinsically healing. What, then, is the difference between Art and Art Therapy?

Join us, as we delve into this question (and many others) on the topic of Art as Therapy. Here we have four practitioners of this concept, who describe their journey. By including clinical Art Therapists, Spiritual Healers who utilize art as medicine, and Fine Artists who have used their art-making as self-therapy, we stretch the definition of Art Therapy to unravel the totality of its meaning.
