AWE (Artists Working in Education) collaboration with Rising Artist Council
Small Wall Exhibit
Artists Working in Education is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide youth in Milwaukee with arts enrichment programs that advance learning, enhance human potential, and cultivate community. This body of work was created by the Rising Artist Council program managed by lead artist Abigail Ziesemann with supervision from Program Director John Kowalczyk.
Rising Artist Council is a group of middle and high school students that meets every week to grow their creative skills through the execution of a variety of projects. This season, participants focused on storytelling and created zines, characters, comics, maps, and more. To learn more about Rising Artist Council or to get involved in the program, please contact artist@awe-inc.org.
