OWL Art Workshop
(Older. Wiser. Local) is a public service program, created by the Jazz Gallery center for the Arts, and funded by Bader Philanthropies. Our purpose is to enrich local senior citizens (50 and up) with a wide variety of topics, including art. This exhibition focuses on the artistic creations made within our time, as we have gathered together since 2018.
Lots of us haven’t necessarily considered ourselves artists, before giving it a try. Some of us have already established ourselves in the art-world. All levels of Artistry have been welcomed and honored.
Along the way, some of our Workshops were lead by Guest-Artists, and some were D.I.Y. (Do. It. Yourself.) Thank you to our Guest-Artists for teaching us how to unlock the inspired-mind within us all. Thank you to each and every one of our OWL attendees for letting go and allowing the experience to expand your lives.
Maturity and wisdom that comes with age undoubtedly brings forth creations that not only fulfill the creators, but also the viewers of these shared works. Thank you, OWL attendees!
