The Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts (JGCA) presents music and art at its historic venue on East Center Street. Once the site of the Milwaukee Jazz Gallery, it hosted jazz luminaries such as Dizzy Gillespie, the Marsalis Brothers, Chet Baker, and McCoy Tyner. We’ve now become a critical nonprofit voice in the region’s music scene, hosting jazz, hip hop, experimental and indie folk music. We present music as an art form in a listening room atmosphere. We’re now embarking on a fundraising effort to install a sound system worthy of that approach.
