JGCA Center Street Daze Volunteers

Saturday, August 17th , 12:00 – 7:00 PM

The Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts needs volunteers on the day of Center Street Daze from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Any amount of time you could commit to would be much appreciated!

What we’ll be doing that day:

  • Music stage

    • Set up stage, chairs, sound system

    • Help bands during rotations if needed

    • Break down set up and put away

  • Rummage Sale

    • Set up tables, layout and price items

    • Manages sales

    • Break drown at end of day

  • Children’s Activity Area

    • Set up tent, tables and supplies

    • Work with the kids until area closes in afternoon

    • Clean up and break down

  • Open Gallery Hours inside

    • Staff the gallery area

    • Answer questions etc. (an info sheet will be provided)

All of the outside activities will need set up starting at 10:00 AM.

The art cart race will happen roughly from 12:00 – 1:00 in front of the Jazz Gallery. All of our activities will begin afterwards starting around 1:00 PM.

Any time you can contribute will be much appreciated!
