Gleeful is a recently formed Milwaukee-based band with an approach to performance and arranging inspired by the greats of jazz-funk and soul music. They’ve come together to put on a show of Leonard Cohen covers in this unique style. The hourlong set features a mix of hits (e.g. Hallelujah, Bird On the Wire) and deep cuts (e.g. In My Secret Life) from the full span of Cohen's catalogue, revitalizing these monumental songs with a contemporary, eclectic sound and a high energy show.
