Calling all JAZZ lovers! Opus is an icon of Wisconsin jazz, having written, recorded, and performed their unique blend of music together for over thirty years. The Jazz Gallery is thrilled to welcome back members of this treasured group, some of which have been playing our venue since the 1970s.
Band Bio:
Opus plays a variety of traditional and contemporary jazz including, but not limited to, music by jazz artists such as Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Horace Silver, Thelonius Monk, and various “Opus” original compositions, etc. Their Jazz Gallery performance will include two sets of music, one of which will serve as a tribute to the late jazz musician, Chick Corea.
