Jeff Goulet (Chicago, IL) + tampertamper + Today is Crashing
Friday, November 20th @ 7:00pm
At the Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts - 926 East Center Street
Jeff Goulet is an experimental musician from Chicago who is a member of Pet Peeves, Larvavision, In Masks, and several equally compelling ad hoc ensembles dotting his city of residence. His recent solo work has taken an abrupt turn toward performance art, inhabiting an almost unreal yet viscerally real space where performance art, absurdist theater, noise music, and even DIY carpentry all meet and turn each other inside out, creating a feverish audiovisual experience that needs to be seen (and heard) to be believed. If you're lucky, he just might build you a ladder.
Local support from indie pop-tinged performance artist tampertamper and experimental duo Today is Crashing.
