“Minneapolis resident Nelson Devereaux is a saxophone and multi-wind instrument player who weaves old into new with exciting indie/instrumental pop sensibilities and dazzling technical abilities on multiple instruments. His latest record, “Infinity” released in November 2024 on the Brooklyn-based Youngbloods label.” He recently completed a US duo tour with singer/songwriter, Craig Finn in April and performed at Turner Hall here in Milwaukee on April 18th, 2025. Old Feels (Asher Kurtz)
Old Feels is the singer/songwriter project of New York City-based Asher Kurtz. The sound of Old Feels is a combination of folk songs, angular electronic beats, homemade cassette loops, and found sound sample chops. All these elements come together to create a comfy bed of nostalgic ambient texture and deep groove; something familiar yet new. The upcoming album “Each Day” set to be out in early-mid 2025, reflects on and explores the microcosms of childhood memory and how those impact our interactions and experience of everyday life” As a performer Asher has played with Lenny Pickett and the SNL House Band, original works at Lincoln Center and in NYC The Kennedy Center in DC, the Barbican in London with Dawn Richard & Spencer Zahn, and traveled with diverse musical artists such as Terri Lyne Carrington, Kevin Garrett, and Yuna.

J. Hoard, who has been featured in groups like Chance The Rapper, Brasstracks, Kassa Overall, Meshell Ndegocello and Jose James brings his earth-shatteringly incredible voice to The Jazz Gallery for one night! “J.
