Nineteen Thirteen + Bryan Cherry
Saturday, June 6th @ 7:30pm
At the Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts - 926 East Center Street
Cellist Janet Schiff, percussionist Renee Luna Bebeau, and vocalist Jen Janviere create chamber rock music that features a cello that was made in Romania in the year of 1913. Their music suggests romance, through lush vocals, layers of psychedelic cello and solid, expressive drums. Nineteen Thirteen defies expectations and rewards listeners with powerful imagery through their stringed and percussive music.
Bryan Cherry is a Midwest singer-songwriter & poet that speaks loudly through music and speaks genuinely. A different breed of soul & rock ‘n roll is the best way to introduce Cherry’s eclectic musical prowess, possessing a musical identity few can replicate, elusive to define andwildly powerful to its core. A vintage sound, a modern sound, a broad musical palette.
